The process of recycling fabrics is different depending on its type. Natural fibres are sorted into fabric type and colour. It is then cleaned and mixed, then re-spun to be used for weaving or knitting. Some fibres are compressed and used for chair padding or mattress filling. Synthetic fibres are granulated into chips and melted to create new fibres.
